It’s almost Christmas and what could be a better accompaniment to your festive dinner than homemade cranberry sauce? Contrary to popular belief… cranberry sauce should not be in the shape of a can and served in slices… LOL!

It’s really easy to make and not very time consuming when you follow my simple recipe. So go ahead and give it a try. Impress your family and friends and enjoy!

Directions:

Yield: app. 4 cups

  1. Combine sugar and water in saucepan and bring to boil.
  2. Add cranberries and pinch of salt.
  3. Simmer on medium heat until all cranberries pop and sauce begins to thicken. (Approx. 15 minutes).
  4. Cool and store covered in the refrigerator.

This recipe can easily be reduced or increased to suit your needs.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of Water
  • 1 cup of Sugar
  • 3 cups of Fresh Cranberries, washed
  • 1 pinch of Salt
