This recipe for meatloaf is an all time favorite. In fact, one of my son’s loved this meatloaf so much, he would request it for his birthday supper! It’s quick, easy and in-expensive too!

Directions:

Yield: One loaf

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, onion, spices, rolled oats, egg, milk, and cheese together. I prefer to use my hands, while wearing disposable gloves.
  2. Place the mixed ingredients into a greased loaf pan. Make sure the loaf is tightly packed into the pan.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Bake the meatloaf on the center rake for approximately an hour and a half.
  4. While the meatloaf is cooking, mix together the ketchup, brown sugar, and dry ground mustard to make the sauce.
  5. After the meatloaf has cooked, top with the sauce. Allow the finished loaf to sit for about 20-30 minutes. This will make it much easier to slice.

ENJOY!!!

    Hi Lali,

I would bake it for the same amount of time whether I was using Ground lamb or ground beef.

    Take care,

    Dear Candra,
If I were to use ground lamb instead of beef, would the baking time be the same? I have some ground lamb and can’t wait to try out this recipe!

This recipe seemed almost too simple, far too easy to be really good. Thanks for the great recipe. Iā€™m definitely keeping this one.
