This is my all time favorite pie. It&#8217;s about the easiest pie a person can make but it&#8217;s absolutely decadent.<!--more--> I get requests for this pie all of the time for Community Fund Raising Dessert Auctions. It always gets the highest bid.<\/p>\n<p>If you are making your own pie crust, take a look at my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cookingwithcandra.com\/blog\/2009\/11\/23\/homemade-pumpkin-pie\/\" title=\"Homemade Pumpkin Pie\" target=\"_blank\">homemade pumpkin pie recipe<\/a>.  It gives directions on making your own pie crust and also has video instructions to make it even easier!<\/p>\n<h2>Directions:<\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"yield\">Yield: One pie (6-8 servings)<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Cover bottom of prepared pie crust with pecans.<\/li>\n<li>Mix remaining ingredients together.<\/li>\n<li>Pour over pecans.<\/li>\n<li>Bake in preheated 350&deg;F oven for approx. 1 hour or until filling is completely gelled and moves as a solid unit, being careful not to over bake.<\/li>\n<li>Cool on a wire rack.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Serve plain or top with ice-cream or freshly whipped cream.
