With this post, we are going to take a break from the normal recipes. This is a fun and easy way to decorate your cup cakes and make them look beautiful. Get the kids involved … they will love this. Before getting started, you will need some cupcakes (recipe here<\/a>) and butter cream frosting (regular butter cream recipe<\/a> or mocha butter cream recipe<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Yield: 24 cupcakes<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Fill a piping bag with butter cream frosting with a star tip. Twist the top of the bag to close it. This will prevent any frosting from coming out the top of the bag.<\/li>\n
  2. Starting at the outside bottom edge of the cupcake, apply gentle pressure to the piping bag allowing the frosting to flow freely.<\/li>\n
  3. Pipe frosting around the outside edge of the cupcake until you reach your starting point. Continue piping, but move towards the center. Continue piping until you reach the center.<\/li>\n
